Christine Laikind

Christine Laikind is owner of Firebrick Gallery and Pottery Studio, located on Main Street in Downtown Rochester. She is also an adjunct professor at College for Creative Studies where she has taught in the Foundations Department, Continuing Education Department, and in the Liberal Arts Department. Subjects she teaches are Digital Foundations, Photoshop, and Business Practices for Designers.

Prior to Firebrick Gallery and Pottery Studio, Christine Laikind had an established virtual organization, C & D Design, which is a graphic design and marketing consultancy company. She is still offering creative services to small businesses, creative professionals, and fine artists.

Christine has been married for 24 years. Her husband owns a manufacturer's rep firm in Sterling Heights. Currently they reside on the north side of Troy, with their only daughter who is a sophomore student at University of Minnesota.

She still dabbles in oil and acrylic painting, mixed media, and digital photography. Lately she has been playing around with polymer clay.
